A Smorgasbord Of SmidA Smorgasbord of Smid has been running in Compers News since August 2003. Although I’ll occasionally indulge in a subject close to my own heart, most of the columns come about as a result of questions and ideas sent in by our readers. As the archive of columns builds, so the number of questions about how to win competitions increases – and so it seems a good idea to put my past columns here, together in one place, as a quick reference point.
Many of the questions covered by the monthly columns, be they individually in the occasional ‘Question of Comping’ strand, or collectively as part of one of the wider-ranging articles, are regularly asked in letters to Compers News or on Chatterbox. So hopefully this site will be a useful ‘first stop’ if you have a query.
